Let's map this out a little bit.
If Nord Stream 2 goes live, and Russia invades Ukraine, what comes next? If Poland mobilizes to support Ukraine, does Belarus attack Poland to bog them down on a separate front? If Belarus attacks polish forces in Ukraine it shouldn't trigger NATO Article 5, but would the Baltic States come to Poland's defense? Does all of this keep Poland out of the fight, knowing that they can sit at home protected by Article 5?
I've been bird-dogging the Belarus / Polish border ever since the annexation of Crimea, so this has been fascinating to watch this play out (which sounds horrible to say). Anyhow, here are a couple of interesting videos on the topic:
